PTBP Shortage & Price hike

Raw Material: PTBP (Para-tertiary butylphenol) affecting POLYTONE Series

There has been a sudden unplanned shut down of 3 weeks by the main PTBP manufacturer in India , leading to severe shortage of PTBP in the market.  Material prices of PTBP from South Korea and China have shot up pertaining to the demand – supply constraint.

Severe price fluctuations are expected for the next 5 to 6 weeks , until the main manufacturer restarts operations and clears pending backlogs.

Please note that any quotations issued by us which have not been confirmed into an order shall remain withdrawn.  Kindly issue a request for fresh quotation. We shall however process all the orders that have been confirmed and closed with us. 

We request you once again to please share the firmed up forecast of your demands to allow us to takes positions and provide a smooth price change in such abrupt price hike situations.  We appreciate your understanding and co-operation as usual.
